Optional Early Feedback: April 1
For an early assessment, submit a brief, one-page version of your Submission File by April 1. Expect constructive feedback within 5 business days, offering you ample time to refine your final submission.
Nomination & Final Submission Deadline: April 30
Nominate a product/system via our concise online Nominate form.
Prepare and submit your comprehensive Submission File, detailing your innovation and its impact.
Judging Phase: May 1 - June 30
Our judges will carefully review all Submission Files, evaluating them against our established criteria. During this period, they may compile questions and additional information requests for clarification.
Q&A Period: July 1 - July 31
Respond to any inquiries from our judges. This is your chance to clarify and enhance your submission, ensuring our panel fully understands the value and impact of your nomination.
Final Judging: August 1 - August 31
Our judges will convene to deliberate and select the award winner(s). All participants will be notified of the outcome by the end of August.
Award Ceremony: October 1 - December 31
Celebrate success! The winner(s) will be honored at a special ceremony, scheduled at a convenient time within these months. This virtual event, hosted by HFES, will spotlight your achievement and innovation in user-centered design.
